Sandra Graham

Sandra Graham is a Seattle area based children’s book author-illustrator. She grew up on the central coast of California and moved to Seattle to attend Cornish College of the Arts, receiving her BFA in Visual Communication Design. She went on to work in design and ecommerce before becoming a senior brand manager at Pokémon, where she currently works.  After becoming a mom in 2017, she fell in love with illustration through children’s books. Since then, she’s created books for the kids in her life, and excelled in several illustration and author-illustrator classes. Sandra loves working digitally as well as traditionally in acrylic and pastel. She’s fluent in Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.  

 

Sandra’s illustrations are inspired by animals, nature, her daughter, curiosity, compassion and everyday moments. She enjoys collaborating with others, working with color and creating whimsical moments. Aside from illustration, she enjoys spending time with her family and pup, taking macro photos in nature, tap dancing, K-dramas and writing her own stories. Some of her favorite movies and shows include: Amelie, Crash Landing on You, and Ted Lasso. Her dream projects are those that encourage connection and conversation with a twist or sense of humor.
